Those not well enough to travel were: Ian Walker from Australia; Ian Morton from Yorkshire; Nick Roberts from Cambridgeshire; Alan Lavers Herefordshire; Peter Boyt from Dorset. We wish them well and look forward to their eventual return to Brymore. David Chamberlain, Gordon Suter, John Stark and Norman Watts were unable to attend.
Several of the above were returning for the first time in 57 years and they received a few surprises! However, the thing that impressed many the most was the general attitude and manner in which the current ‘Boys' conducted themselves, which is a credit to Brymore.
An exceptional day was enjoyed by those attending, starting with a hearty lunch at the ‘Friendly Spirit' in Cannington, followed by a visit to the school and conducted tour of the current facilities.
Our gratitude goes to Mark Thomas and the ‘BOYS' for their hospitality and time to make our
“Great Brymore Experience”
